What is Brainwave Simulator?

Brainwave Simulator is a programmable signal generator for XDAQ - X-Headstage functionality check.

2-channel output mapped to alternating channels of the X-Headstage with independently adjustable parameters:

  • Waveform: sinusoid, triangle, square, simulated
  • Amplitude: GND, 0.1, 0.5, 3.3mV
  • Frequency: 10, 30, 500, 1kHz

Headstage Adapters for X3 or X6 connector interfaces are included.




How to use Brainwave Simulator?


1.Attach X-Headstage to the Headstage Adapter


2.Attach XHS, Cable, and Stabilizer

While pressing the X-Headstage on the adapter, push the HDMI cable into the X-Headstage.  Install the Stabilizer and secure the attachment using the thumb screw.

3.Attach to Brainwave Simulator, then HDMI cable to XDAQ

Once the X-Headstage is securely anchored, install the assembly on to the Brainwave Simulator.  Install the HDMI cable to the XDAQ or Commutator.  

4.Turn on Brainwave Simulator and adjust the waveform output as need
